PEACH COBBLER

1 stick unsalted butter
3 to 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup sugar*
2 tsp. Baking powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk.

Sprinkle peaches with sugar and set aside.
Put butter in a 2qt. Casserole dish in a cold oven. Turn oven on and set at 350*
Sift sugar, baking powder and flour into a large bowl, add milk and stir until well blended.
When butter has melted and oven has reached 350* pour batter evenly over the butter, next pour peaches evenly over the batter.

Bake until top is golden browns 45 min-1hr.

*You can use Splenda instead of sugar. Sprinkle over the peaches as well as in batter

Bring peaches to boil before spreading over batter
